Examples of our work
3na provided domain expertise to a large Federal Government department to develop and successfully transition a project with both media and ministerial attention to a tailored software delivery methodology. 3na held a central leadership role in the delivery team seeing the project through to its successful completion.
3na continues to support federal software initiatives including leading analysis teams to deliver digital gateways ingesting single-touch payroll information from the ATO and managing stakeholders for systems supporting some of Australia’s most vulnerable citizens.
3na developed Engineering Information Management standards for a large underground mine, in compliance with Australian Standards and in alignment with company global standards.
This work built the foundation of an Engineering Information Management Capability for the mine, making standards easy to access and maintain, and providing consistent guidance to projects undertaken by the company and their suppliers.
3na provided data engineering expertise to develop reports and analytics for leadership and operations teams of a global mining company.
Reports and analytics included workforce planning, asset maintenance and document control workflow analysis using TIBCO Spotfire and Denodo data virtualisation platform for data ingestion and transformation.
3na undertook a cyber security review for a large metropolitan Council to assess their alignment with the South Australian Cyber Security Framework (SACSF).
Working closely with key staff and reviewing documentation, we delivered a report outlining their current cyber security position, key areas for improvement, and a staged roadmap for improving their cyber security posture and compliance with the SACSF.
3na led the analysis of more than 200 individual systems and applications used throughout the old RAH, and identified modifications required for them to function correctly in the new RAH.
We worked with various groups to source the information required, including ward identifiers, phone numbers, and interfaces with new systems, then worked with system owners to make the changes required within the timelines needed to transition to the new site.
3na provided security assessment services to support the accreditation and certification of multiple systems.
Tasks included briefing system owners on the requirements of the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and Information Security Manual (ISM), Stage 1 and Stage 2 assessment processes, vulnerability assessment, and developing mitigation strategies to reduce risk.
3na managed a project to establish the foundations of an enterprise data platform for public and private health practices.
This project will build a fully integrated, curated, open data architecture that enables stakeholders to access data from across the organisation and develop and share new insight that support a broad array of requirements, stretching from intelligent design support at the point of care, through to population and epidemiological surveillance.
3na provided data engineering services to rework and migrate reports from a legacy system to a new International Student Management System based on Salesforce.
This activity provided opportunities to revise business logic and improve reports, where appropriate, while establishing the foundations for data visualisation initiatives in the future.
Our team led a project to uplift the Royal Adelaide Hospital from a paper-based system to one of the most advanced surgical instrument tracking systems in the world.
We worked closely with SA Health and the RAH Central Sterile Services Department to understand their requirements, map workflows, identify dependencies, and implement an electronic asset management system built on Getinge’s T-DOC solution.
The project delivered one of the most advanced day-one activations of T-DOC ever achieved, with the team receiving letters of commendation from the RAH’s Nursing Director and Getinge Australia.
3na supported a $100m+ project for a global mining company to scope, design and build wireless network connectivity through more than 450km of underground mine.
Tasks undertaken by 3na include developing the detailed requirements specification, developing the test strategy and test cases, design review for requirements traceability, use case modelling, lab design, skills assessment and workforce planning, service design and transition to operations planning.
3na developed a Microsoft Power Automate solution to create hundreds SharePoint folders with custom permissions.
The solution validates users and provides on-demand reports on SharePoint usage, saving the organisation hours of manual work.
3na undertook a cyber security review of a system being developed by a medical company using the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cyber Security Framework (NIST CSF).
We delivered a report summarising their overall cyber security position, status against individual elements of the NIST CSF, and prioritised recommendations to improve the cyber security posture of the system.
3na managed the development of an Implant Billing Solution for the Royal Adelaide Hospital, replacing a paper-based process for tracking the use of implants and consumables to recover costs from insurers and other agencies.
The new system was integrated with external data sources for current pricing and item codes, and the patient administration system for billing, and is saving the RAH an estimated $4m – $8m per year in previously unclaimed costs.
3na managed a project for one of South Australia’s largest metropolitan Councils to replace a legacy Enterprise Resource Planning platform with TechnologyOne.
This project was part of Council’s ICT enterprise reform program to replace disparate core business systems with a seamless and integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system.
3na provided remediation activities for a secure environment including automated build, deploy and configure workflows for Linux systems and processes for synchronising software updates from the Internet to an isolated network.
Additional work included automated security compliance reporting using OpenSCAP, improvements to identity management services, and design activities for a secure testing and training environment.
3na led the development of a scalable, cloud-based enterprise data platform proof of concept for a large mining company.
This centralised platform ingests data from across the businesses enabling authorised users to produce reports and dashboards, providing business insights and informing decision making.
